it’s complicated

A small attempt to stay with the questions that do not arrive with neat answers.

There are things I understand only after I stop trying to explain them. The feeling arrives first, then the language, and sometimes the language never arrives at all.

I used to think that uncertainty was a room I had to leave as quickly as possible. Now I am learning to sit in it. To let a thought be unfinished without treating it as a failure.

Maybe this is what it means to pay attention: to stay close enough to the complicated thing that it can tell you what it is becoming.

Some questions are not asking to be solved. They are asking to be lived with.
